A large, lyrical painting, full of subtle and joyful colour. Abstract, but suggestive perhaps of both a face, lungs, trees, and general organic, breathing rhythmic structures. Lightly and quickly painted, with great assurance, the surface enlivened by finer dark lines and sgraffito work.

There’s nothing much to be found out about the artist, but his skill and touch are unquestionable.

This picture would look amazing on a large wall, providing a compelling but meditative focus for a room.

In original vintage silvery/chrome frame. In very good general condition, the paint surface fresh and unmarked.
