The box was made and imported for the famed antique store in Chinatown called, The Jade Tree. This store is widely known in the area to carry/sell items of high quality, craftsmanship and value from China. This box is very special. The brass and copper are inlayed into the top and front side with raised details - it looks as if the branches are growing on the box. I love that the hinge matches the brass of the blossoms and that the inside is a natural wood. Lovely piece! See less
