Circa 1930's Bandolero Ribbon desk fan is a beautiful, original example. The dark brown bakelite is in great condition with just a minor hairline crack below the neck that is only noticeable in direct light and does not impact the usability of the fan. The "blades" are crafted from brown fabric material and were marketed in the 1930s as a safer alternative to the metal fan blades of the time. The fan features a solid, heavy base for added stability. It has been cleaned and serviced with new oil and new brushes. The power cord remains in good condition, and the fan operates smoothly on one intended speed at 220v AC. This desk fan is an excellent example of unique yet functional design.
