Store Item: ELDRED WHEELER TIGER MAPLE TWO-PART BONNET-TOP SECRETARY DESK WITH BOOKCASE
Description: Outstanding Tiger Maple Secretary Desk with a beautiful open pediment with an urn final, carved sunburst on the bookcase with two arch paneled doors that opens to interior shelving. Two piece construction with the upper case resting on the slant front desk. The slant front desk opens to interior drawers, rest above four dovetailed constructed drawers with solid brass pulls and escutcheons resting on ogee bracket feet. Marked Eldred Wheeler. Eldred Wheeler bench made furniture in the 18th century style. Eldred Wheeler was made to order with no two pieces being completely identical. Highly sought after and collectable, very high end.
Condition Report: Very Good Condition, with some scuffs and scratches as expected with usage. Beautiful showpiece.
