Vintage Brutalist Mid Century Modern Oval Metal
Sunburst and Birds Sculptural Wall Art.
Stunning mid-century metal artisan sculpture of a starburst with a flock of birds in flight. The sunburst has a brass finish --with the flock of birds in brass, bronze and copper.
This piece is unsigned but often attributed to Curtis Jere. This is a dimensional sculpture that is just a gorgeous example of the 1960s brutalist style. It's in remarkable condition with no issues of concern. The birds are all unique in shape, size, and warm metal tones. This sculpture has a heavy bracket on the back with a keyhole for easy hanging. It also has two metal "feet" on the back that help hold the sculpture away from the wall when hung allowing it's three-dimensional style and design to really shine.
Overall this sculpture measures 38"W x 20"H and about 5"D.
