this exquisite set of four gosho ningyō (御所人形), or court dolls, represents a unique piece of japanese culture and craftsmanship.

handmade during the shōwa period (1926–1989), these dolls radiate the charm and refinement of japanese court traditions. They symbolize good fortune and prosperity and were often given as gifts on special occasions.

the set includes:

small warrior: a figure holding a detailed staff, dressed in vibrant silk with an orange hue, exuding strength and youth.

traditional courtier: a doll with black hair and an elegant fan. Her intricately designed brocade kimono features a traditional pattern.

kabuki actor: a dynamic figure with bright orange hair, capturing the theatrical essence of japanese kabuki theater perfectly.
