The head, foot board and rails on this be disassemble for easier transport. There are no real blemishes on the frame. There is a slight variation in the gloss finish on the headboard face. It is not related to the stain finish, it is a difference in lacquer gloss. The bed comes with 2 wood mattress supports and 2 L brackets for the center. This is the higher floor clearance model.
