Admirers of the craft will appreciate a strong resemblance to Caucasian rug designs—particularly to “Eagle” Kazak rug designs, named for the sharp talon-like features of this play of medallion and all over style. Bright, saturated red underscores field and border alike, while the patterns enjoy bright white, navy blue, and gold tones among the polychrome colorway.
