Crafted from brass, the lamp features a striking red spherical counterweight—an unprecedented color for the era—adding a bold and unique touch to this iconic piece. At the base of the counterweight is an elegant brass detail, further enhancing its refined aesthetic. The diabolo-shaped lampshade is a hallmark of mid-century french design, with a sophisticated color combination: green on the upper half, black on the lower half, and a white interior to provide a soft, diffused light. The lamp’s structure is equally remarkable, with brass rods connected by a central, ring-like hub through which the wiring runs.
