The ring features a oval brilliant cut natural vivid purple amethyst in the center with a total weight by measurement of 2.50 carats in a flared eight prong setting. The buttercup design of the setting hugs the center stone connecting it to the very slightly split shank offering an elegant French look. The ring is crafted in 14 karat yellow gold and is currently a finger size 8 1/4 yet can be adjusted to any finger size for an additional charge.
