Crackly green painted surface with white hand drawn verbiage boldly offering goods for sale, “GREEN MT. POTATOES” and “DUCK EGGS” on the verso. Likely from a farm stand where the purveyor repurposed the signage over time dependent upon what was available at the farm. The worn surface beautifully shows its age and endurance over time with earlier uses stating, “WOOD FOR SALE” as well as another good which is illegibly listed. Constructed from two planks of pine, braced with two vertical wood bars on the backside. Unsigned. See less
