Anthony Frederick Sarg (known professionally as Tony Sarg) was a German illustrator who designed sophisticated interiors for high-end department stores and restaurants, including the supper club at 5-star Waldorf Astoria in New York City. In 1939, Sarg designed for the New York's World Fair, creating their official pictorial map, colorful fabrics, handkerchiefs, dresses, and table linens, which were sold through Lord & Taylor Department Store.
