Furniture with spiral legs was known as the "Barley Twist". The turn was difficult to make in oak because the wood is brittle. It was often made of walnut or beech wood. This pattern was very popular in English furniture design and experienced many renaissances, including: in the early 19th century, and then again during the reign of Queen Victoria in the mid to late 19th century. The side table has been cleaned of dust and dirt and covered several times with a thin layer of ecological hard oil. Dimensions:
