Amazing French 19th century Neoclassical-theme table lamp, recently converted from gas to electric. The new, square lampshade features a black exterior and metallic tortoiseshell pattern on the interior to scatter the light from a standard bulb. The dark, cast metal lamp body is decorated like a miniature Corinthian column: fluted to crisp ridges around the circumference, with brass capital and base densely populated with foliate motifs. A squared lamp base corresponds to the shade above as a cohesive ensemble. Cleaned and wired for US electrical using UL listed parts this lamp is ready to be placed in your interior.
