Each spoon has the president's bust at the top of the handle, followed by his name. The bowl of each spoon have a significant event that occurred during that presidency. Spoon 1: President George Washington, the 1st US president with Mount Vernon in the spoon's bowl. Spoon 2: President James Madison, the 4th president of the US with spoon bowl embossed with the USS Constitution and the War of 1812. Spoon 3: President James Monroe, the 5th president of the US with spoon bowl embossed with N/S America/Monroe Doctrine. Spoon 4: President Herbert Hoover, the 32nd president of the US with spoon bowl embossed with Progress in Aviation. Hallmarks include: Wm. Rogers MFG Co., IS.
