This English bulldog sculpture is porcelain designed and hand-painted by German sculptor/porcelain sculptor, Fritz Diller (1875-1945.) Sculpture embodies all the hallmarks of a true English bulldog including color/hues, stance, muscular build, skin folds, shoulder definition, large head and protruding jowls, etc. A collectable piece and wonderful for the lover of this breed and animals alike. Authentication marks on bottom/underside, 'Rosenthal', 'Germany', 'handgemalt' (hand-painted), 'f' artists mark on dogs' belly, all shown in last two images.
