Fine Swedish Handwoven "Röllakan" Wool Rug Made by Konstfliten, Bohusslöjd, 1950´s
Rare Large röllakan rug with classic rectangular pattern in different colours. The Rug is handwoven in a classic röllakan weave which is an ancient weaving technique that origins from the middle east. Märta Måås Fjätterström wove her rugs in the same technique as this. The rug measures 283 cm in length and 112 cm wide, the fringes are in good condition, they are just slightly worn but still in good condition. There are some minor wear to the rug, but overall in great condition. This piece has an attribution mark,
