Minor … Read more This fantastic set of armchairs and ottoman are in good used condition. They are stable and sound in construction. Minor signs of use and age related marks to be found. Comfortable, yet rather stylish. The swivel Auckland armchair is Jean Marie Massaud’s personal reinterpretation of the classical lounge chair. The visible shell in fiberglass is inserted in the stem of the four-spoked base by means of a cantilevered support. The shell-shaped seat, intentionally exhibited to look like an armour reminding to the Kendo tradition, makes it an original masterpiece able to be positioned anywhere. The 277 Auckland is an armchair where sensual and enchanting lines exhort you to relax and meditate. Massaud’s sophisticated design enhances its stylistic value which, in turn, is accentuated by removable covers in fabric or leather. This piece has an attribution mark,
