This rug is made from hand spun wool which is not dyed but instead made from the wool of brown and white sheep. Each of our rugs are knotted by hand, taking several weeks to make, however, this particular rug is also made from hand-spun wool which adds several weeks onto the process as each strand of yarn used in the rug pile and weft is spun by hand as oppose to by machine. For this reason, these rugs are incredibly durable and of the highest quality textiles you can find anywhere. Great for a neutral space with its calming minimal abstract design.

Unlike vintage rugs which were confined by the size of the personal looms found within the homes of the Amazigh (Berber) women, the newer contemporary rugs are often made outside of the home where women from the village will come to work together on new pieces.
