A unique piece by the british artist roger denton, who here reinterprets an everyday object, playfully drawing the viewer in and toying with our sense of time and permanence. This sculpture would be an intriguing and fun addition to a domestic space like a dressing room or boot room and would look brilliant sitting on a bench or the floor.

denton studied art in the uk and has recently returned after a long stint in the usa where he exhibited and was commissioned widely. One of his larger works is on display as a piece of public art in the franklin district of nashville.
