With … Read more An early 18th century English George II chest of drawers, circa 1730. Elmwood and walnut with oak secondary woods. With very nice book- matched elm wood veneers with crossbanded walnut borders and double molded drawer edges. With two short over two long graduated drawers, all on scrolled bracket feet. It is 32 1/4" high, by 43" wide by 22 1/2" deep. The finish is old with nice patina, and the hardware has been replaced, but is of the period. With various minor repairs throughout.
