Gary Lawrence Niblett (New Mexico, 1943-) Oil on Canvas, "Out for a Ride." Signed G. Niblett 73" in lower right of image. Landscape of the American West featuring a cowboy riding his horse. The background is a cloudy sky and the rising red mountains of the Southwest.
At age 33, Niblett became the youngest member ever elected to the prestigious art organization, the Cowboy Artists of America.
