A wonderful 122" long Biscuit Tufted, ledge back sofa by Iconic Mid Century designer, William "Billy" Haines.
The upholstery is in a high grade velvet and is a very comfortable is Haines most popular sofa - featured in his publications, and also used in his personal space. The sofa will seat many guests and is a great center piece for those that need seating, enjoy a great look and have the space for this show piece.
Haines was an authentic man who lived his life as a designer when the movie industry gave him a choice of being a leading man or living his truth - that said he began an iconic and heavily sought after designer from the most prestigious and regarded Hollywood icons of the time. He and Joan Crawford had a very long and historic relationship, amongst many others.
