The piece was manufactured in the 1960's and is all hand crafted. The Onyx has a thick resin coating that gives the piece a very deep shine and protects it from elements.

The middle solid and banded top is removable and can be flipped to create a chess or checker board, and if left removed can be used as a back gammon board.

The shown chairs are Karl Springer Goatskin and while they are not included in the price are perfectly suited for the piece and make a nice addition as they too are from the same era. The piece also includes a light inside the base that can be wired for light but currently is not active. The game pieces we can source for your, but they are not included as part of this set.

The piece is stunning and a gem in any room, and while it is a game table could easily be used for playing cards, dining or as a side or center table.

The table is one unit, but comes apart into three sections:
Game board top: 28 lbs
Table Top: 76 lbs
Base: 62 lbs.
