According to Chinese mythology, the Jade Emperor's palace was surrounded by peach trees that provided ripe fruit every three thousand years. A single bite of this charmed fruit granted not only immortality but also exceptional strength. Once part of a pair used as finials at the entrance to a grand home, the Immortal Peach finial promises long-lasting pleasure as sculpture indoors or out. See less
