Straight lines and subtle curves flow together seamlessly in this elegant mid-19th-century table made in Shanxi province. We love the way its humpback curves and rounded aprons sweep into simple stretcher bars and round legs, invoking the classic style and aesthetic restraint of Ming-dynasty design. Made for sharing and offering wine and spirits, the table once gathered together convivial imbibers who engaged in group toasts and robust consumption.
