Vintage Classic L. Hitchcock Turtle / Pillow Back Stenciled Slat Back Farmhouse Side Chair with Rush Seat. Features hand painting and stenciling by rubbing a bronzing powder into a tacky finish coat, the large sculptural curved back splat depicts a bountiful fruit bowl and is marked on the back of the seat "L.HITCHCOCK. HITCHCOCKSVILLE. CONN. WARRANTED." (With all N's backwards) and manufactured by the renown company of L. Hitchcock of Connecticut .
