This excellent example is a vibrant green and gold that has been enhanced with gilding. This would have been used as storage and retail of various teas. The piece is in excellent condition with normal wear and patina in some areas. It was converted to a lamp at some point and has had the interior pull chain sockets replaced. The wiring has also been replaced with a gold twisted silk wrapped cord.
