The definition of casual elegance, this piece features ample storage hidden behind the hand painted and carved doors. Traditional Asian construction techniques, including “through tenon” joinery make this chest as solid as it is aesthetically pleasing. Note the top that is constructed of multiple pieces. It was typical for these types of cabinets to have a door that opened from the top. Though no longer functioning, it is a clue to the history and provenance of this piece.

This one of a kind piece would add warmth, beauty, and functionality to any room.
