The most famous work “Dandelion” by the Chinese artist Wu Fan (1924 – 2015) from 1959. It is a colored lithograph and the motif won the gold medal in the woodcut printing category in Leipzig. The picture shows a girl kneeling next to her basket and blowing a dandelion - an everyday motif that is intended to remind us of the carefree childhood and the lightness of being. Both the minimalist design and the use of the golden ratio make this work of art so pleasant and attractive to the eye. The print including the frame is 41.5 cm x 31.5 cm, with the frame being approximately 1 cm wide. Condition: the condition is good to very good. The paper is slightly yellowed (even, not stained), which gives the picture a special patina. On the left side of the picture there is a small yellowish spot (at the level of the dandelion), which is not noticeable negatively and was photographed separately in a picture. Otherwise there are 2-3 smaller dark mini dots that cannot be captured photographically. The frame is without damage. Overall, a great and special piece of art history.
