The thick bronze drum has … Read more Amazing patinated Shan style Southeast Asian cast bronze rain drum or frog drum drink table. The thick bronze drum has a tapered hourglass form and features a rich patinated finish with verdigris. Typically from east Burma or Myanmar and made by the tribes of the Karen people. The drum has loop side handles for hanging. The top and sides are decorated with concentric circles and the top is centered by a sunburst or star motif. The sides are decorated with a row of elephants and the top has the classic stacked frogs on each side. Beautifully crafted with strong joinery and desirable aged patina.
