This is a white Aynsley Cake Plate in the Cottage Garden pattern. It is the smaller cake plate or cheese plate and it has a completely different shape than the normal plates. The pattern is dated 1970 and this plate has a Aynsley sticker in addition to the markings on the back.
The plate measures 8.25 inches across.
It is white with shaping in the bone china and a design of multicolor flowers and butterflies in the center and around the rim. The rim is left white and the mark on the back is pictured.
There are no chips, cracks, or other damage.
