This beautiful, peach luster, Alacite glass table lamp is made by Aladdin (trademark is embossed on the bottom rim). It is made with 3/8” thick glass, has 6 little glass-raised feet, the original brass ring on top and a stunning, original Aladdin glass finial to top it all off! There is an “Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., Inspected Portable Lamp, Issue 2995”, green label on the inside of the base.
Alacite glass was the creation of Henry Hellmers and in his words was described as “an ivory opal glass”.
The 1930’s has never looked so fine!
The shade is not included.
The total height of the light, from its base, to the top of its finial, is 27.5”.
The “body” of the light is 13.5” and the harp, socket, and finial measure another 14”.
The finial itself measures 3.75”.
