- The bed is solid and sturdy and in very good condition commensurate with age and use. There are scratches about … moreThe bed is solid and sturdy and in very good condition commensurate with age and use. There are scratches about the feet and on the headboards. One of the headboards has several nicks along the edge, see last photo. This bed was previously fitted with fabric skirts that hung from metal rods. The mounting hardware for those rods is present and attached to the bed. The skirt system was not original to the bed, but if you plan to use bed skirts, we will include the metal rods that the skirts hang from. We have a complete set of rods (footboard and both sides) for one bed, and a partial set (one footboard and side only) for the other bed. less
