Mid Century pendent lamp from french designer Henri Mathieu for his own company, Mathieu Lustrerie, deftly straddles the line between function & art.
Often misattributed to Verner Panton, these rare lamps are made from satiny brushed steel. Each metal strip is enameled on the interior in glossy white Making for a beautiful otherworldly glow.
In good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, it does show some minor surface wear and scratches that are not particularly noticeable when hung & in no way detract from its overall beauty.
In working condition with ceiling plate and stainless link chain. Requires 2 European style E14 bulbs (not included).
