Painting # 110798 by Van Bankston is an expression of minimalism in colors of greige and warm almost-black. Simple lines suggest nothing, yet form an organized mandala of contemplation.
The painting is signed on the back. Framing is not required, having clean canvas edges.
"I hope my art encourages the viewer to stop, pause, and take a breath. My art is an invitation to the pleasure of the present moment through the qualities of color, balance, line, form, and texture for a lifegiving and empowering experience."
