A lamp designed by one of the greatest danish designers of the 20th century, benny frandsen. It is distinguished by a simplified, geometrized design based on three tubes supporting a plate crowning the whole. A striking form is taken by the bulb socket holder: it consists of a cylinder topped with a motif of quadruple plates, mimicking the one enclosing the lamp structure. Simplicity and functionalism are combined with a visually appealing, avant-garde design. Lamp maker frandsen has been in business since 1968, and its founder, benny frandsen, is responsible for numerous iconic designs, popularizing the scandinavian approach to craftsmanship worldwide. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
