This is a rare gelatin silver print panorama photograph by Eugene Omar Goldbeck (American, 1892-1986) titled "7th Cavalry Brigade mechanized, Fort Knox, Ky., July 1st, 1938, Major General Daniel Van Voorhis, commanding". The title is written in white on the lower middle. It is signed in ink on the back and also has the studio stamp. The unframed sheet is 61.5" wide and 10" high. The photograph shows several hundred trucks, vehicles, tanks, guns and soldiers in a panorama. I have included zoomed images in sections of the wide photograph to see details I saw record of this item only in the Library of Congress. Eugene Omar Goldbeck is best known for his large Cirkut panoramas of military personnel and bases.
