Tinsel art (aka foil art) painting of colorful flowers on black ground in a beautiful vintage black and gold frame. Tinsel painting is reverse painting on glass with foil applied behind the translucent and transparent areas. Tinsel art is highly collectible and very decorative. Date unknown but this piece was acquired with a companion piece whose inscription suggests it may have been made in 1975. See less
