A unique 19th century Louis XVI Style mahogany round side table Bouillotte.
Marble top, golden rail, two drawers and extensions on each sides H:28" DIAMETER 27"
Louis XVI period bouillotte table in mahogany and Cuban mahogany veneer opening with two drawers and two belt pulls in opposition. The table rests on four tapered and fluted legs ending in sabots. Fluted brass spindle feet ,on casters The white marble top is surrounded by an openwork gallery. Veined white marble top ,gilded bronze gallery , brass threaded belt and scrapers.

Bouillotte is a card game that appeared in the 18th century whose rules are based on three of a kind, a card game based on players' bets that appeared in the 17th century. The game is considered one of the games that influenced the variations of poker.
