A French Directoire walnut commode, (chest of drawers) circa 1830. With graceful lines and fabulous hardware. It is 28" wide by15" deep by 33.5"" high. It has three drawers with nice carving on the legs and apron. All walnut , with oak secondary woods. It is very heavy and solidly built. It has a nice old finish with good color and patination. .
good The drawers having ebonised escutcheons and brass drop pull handles. Standing on square tapering legs.
