Two four-armed candleholders made of hammered and chased silver, base in a round basic shape, domed and ribbed and segmented … Read more Two four-armed candleholders made of hammered and chased silver, base in a round basic shape, domed and ribbed and segmented in twelve rays, pointedly raised in the middle, with four slender u-shaped tubes on top, joined in the middle by a ball divided into twelve columns by pleating, set with trumpet-shaped spouts with eight petal edges at the outer ends. The design of a six-branched candlestick by josef hoffmann for the wiener werkstätte, around 1928, can certainly be seen as a model for this viennese silversmith's work.
