The grey-green hazy layer, textured with a slight impasto and geometric pattern, covers luminescent colours underneath trying to break through which, if investigated closely, are the colours of light: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violent. The poetic composition of colours, gathering light, evoke emotional responses in the artist and provoke the imagination of the viewer. Reminiscent of the sun slowing rising, breaking through the misty morning sky illuminating the water ultimately giving birth to a new day – this painting transports the viewer into numerous inspiring scenes and stories.

Exhibited at Dignam Gallery, in "Gathering Light: A Group Exhibition" - October 24, 2024 - November 2, 2024 in. Toronto, Canada at the Women's Art Association of Canada - an organization supporting and promoting the arts since 1887.
