A unique hand-drawn colorful wall decoration that adds an authentic Japanese accent to any stylish interior.
This Japanese drawing in traditional ukiyo-e style depicts two elegant Japanese figures. The upper figure is an aristocrat, while the lower figure is a woman, possibly a geisha or a lady from the Edo period, recognizable by her intricate hairstyle with hairpins and colorful kimono. The scene radiates an intimate, tender interaction.
The use of color and the patterns in the clothing, such as flowers and geometric shapes, are characteristic of this style. The print may have been inspired by the works of famous ukiyo-e artists such as Kitagawa Utamaro, known for his delicate and refined portraits of women. This piece has an attribution mark,
