Original Robert Cox (1934-2001) Framed & Signed Oil on Board still life painting depicting a floral arrangement of roses in vase. Signed bottom right, in a canvas and a gold wood frame with ebony inset.
Cox found much inspiration for his floral paintings in California and became one of the most prolific painters of the 1970's and 1980's. He established a huge reputation in the United States for his neo-Victorian style and his adoption of the pallet knife in creating flowers. His work is represented in many American Museums, galleries, and private collections
