The grand "ottoman sofa" was commissioned … Read more Grand bespoke mohair velvet tufted sectional sofa custom designed by George Smith, London UK. The grand "ottoman sofa" was commissioned by Samantha Todhunter Design for an estate in San Francisco, CA. The hardwood frame features a whimsical design with large removable oversized bolster pillow arms having decorative patinated brass tack nail heads. The frame is upholstered with an opulent, plush powder blue mohair velvet fabric. The sofa is skirted with chic bullion fringe and supported by hidden turned legs with a black lacquered finish. Sturdy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The custom sofa is one of two constructed for the estate. The other sofa is a larger 3 piece sectional 14 feet long and is also available.

Provenance: From a historic 1916 Julia Morgan designed mansion in Presidio Heights San Francisco, CA. The sofa is located at our California warehouse ready for delivery and installation.
