This barware serving set is an exquisite example of French Art Deco design, crafted from silver plate metal by Silversmith … Read more This barware serving set is an exquisite example of French Art Deco design, crafted from silver plate metal by Silversmith Maison Barra of Paris in the 1940s. The three-sectioned designed cylindrical Martini or cocktail shaker has a removable cap and filter strainer. The bar set is completed with its original six silver plate cocktail glasses with the same geometric design. Each piece is marked underside with legal silversmith hallmarks.
The bar set is in good condition, with a tiny scratch on the base of one of the glasses. Check the close-up.
Measurements:
Shaker: 3.30 in diameter (8.5 cm) x 7.88 in high (20 cm).
Glasses: 2 in diameter (5 cm) x 2.57 in high (6.5 cm).
