The cabinet has brass fittings … Read more Circa 1900 Antique Korean Apothecary Cabinet / Chest Tansu with 3 drawers and 2 doors. The cabinet has brass fittings and handles. The front of the drawers and doors are burl wood. The cabinet was constructed using wooden pegs throughout but 2 small metal nails were found on the back leg, perhaps this was a later repair or reinforcement. The inside of the drawers and cabinet are lined with blue and white paper. The cabinet measures approximately 34 inches long, 14-1/4 inches deep and 27-1/2 inches tall. The wood has warping and cracks. The hinges are the doors are damaged and the brass trim has some bends and missing tacks. See less
