This is a one of a kind, difficult to find, huge chest of drawer. from France, we found this piece … Read more This is a one of a kind, difficult to find, huge chest of drawer. from France, we found this piece in a tailor's shop, where it would have been used for storage and decorative purposes, but originally it would have held clothes or general storage in the home of a family of great substance. Probably located on the wall between two windows, this piece would have made a statement in the room.

We have had this piece renovated\. not to pristine, factory condition, but we have smoothed out the bumps and bruises and the wear and tear and this piece is now fabulously characterful and ready to use as it is.

Heavy and large, the carcass is made from solid walnut wood and the veneer is the finishing touch on top. This will store masses of clothes or general pieces and would be absolutely ideal in a property with high ceilings.
