Oushak rugs have been in production since the 15th century with superb wools and natural dyes. Unlike other Turkish rugs, Oushak rugs influenced after Persian rugs and they woven with Ghiordes knots and all double knotted, their design is feature intricate motifs of vines and leaves and typically based on geometric motifs.
Size: 9'11" x 13'11" - 302 cm x 424 cm.
Origin: Western Anatolia.
Period: circa 1900.
Materials: Wool pile, wool warp and weft.
Condition: Very good-minor restorations.
